About Me

Hi All, I have set up this blog for family and friends that want to check that I am alive and for me to put down some stories and photos so that I can look back at my trip. Feel free to read/look as much or as little as you like.

I have completed my first few ski instructing lessons. I took two kids (16 + 11) who both hadn't skied for a full day. By the end of the day I got them up the first chair lift and snow plowing down. They had a few stacks but got down safely, which is the main thing.

Below are some photos I took playing around with the camera.

We had another trip to Red Mountain and Whitewater Mountain. These mountains are about 5 hours from Panorama so we stayed in Nelson, BC overnight. Whitewater was amazing with 89cm falling the week prior and the day boarded it was a clear blue sky day. Probably one of the best days of the season at Whitewater. Whitewater averages 10m of snowfall each year!!

The season is nearly over and plans are in motion to catch up with Cam Ashcroft and Harry Brazel in Vancouver. I will be finishing up work at Panorama in about 3 weeks and hitting the road to Vancouver. It's been a great season but keen to go explore other parts of Canada/North America/Europe.
